Welcome to our Homeschooling High School pages. HLA started in TN, but now serves a global homeschool community, offering ONE competitive high school diploma to graduates in all fifty states and many foreign countries. The uniqueness of HLA is we put the power in the hands of the parent, allowing YOU to customize a highschool transcript that is just right according to your child's goals. That is why we call this Goal-Based Education. Our transcripts are as diverse as the directions of our students. Below you will find a wealth of information on homeschooling in highschool to help you take responsibility for your high school student. But you are NEVER ALONE! Our growing high school staff is experienced and helpful.

High School Counselors:

HLA recognizes that opportunities are as diverse as our students. Many of our high school students will go to 4 year universities, technical schools, or on-line schools, while others will go to work in a family business, become enteprenuers or become homemakers and homeschool their own children.  HLA's counselors are available via email or telephone to assist with 4 year planning, answer questions or simply pray with you. High School Evaluations:

Official transcript evaluations are required for every high school student prior to receiving a diploma. Evaluations should be requested prior to entering the 11th grade and again prior to entering the 12th grade. A final evaluation will be conducted once all grades have been posted and the student is ready to receive the diploma. The $50 Senior fees must be paid prior to requesting the diploma. Evaluations and other requests may be made by logging into your Member Login account and clicking "Request Manager."

ACT/SAT:

Colleges and universities usually require a minimum ACT score of 21 or its SAT equivalent.
