High School Credit Recommendations for University Bound Students:    

HLA believes college bound students should put a strong focus on the areas of English, Math, Science, and Electives. Below is a list of recommendations to get you started. These are NOT requirements...they are simply recommendations. We feel these recommendations will satisfy many 4 year universities. Since HLA serves a global community applying to colleges all across the globe, parents should do extensive research concerning college admissions requirements. The parents are responsible for insuring their students have the necessary courses to get into the college of their choice.
 

IMPORTANT: The chart below contains recommendations only. This chart is for college bound students graduating 2013 and beyond.

For the minimum HLA graduation Requirements (Class of 2013 and beyond) refer to Chart A.

NOTE: 1 credit = A full year of study (150 hours)
          .5 credit = A semester of study (75 hours)
